The NLCS is back Thursday night, with the Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Dodgers facing off in Game 4, with first pitch set for 8 PM ET. The Brewers enter with a 3-0 series lead and have the opportunity to advance to the World Series with a win.
After giving up a leadoff homer from Jackson Chourio in the top of the first, Dodgers star pitcher Blake Snell regained control, striking out nine before things fell apart in the top of the seventh.
Snell walked Andrew Vaughn and then gave up back-to-back homers to Jake Bauers and Garrett Mitchell to bring the Brewers up 4-2 before he was pulled. Rōki Sasaki and Justin Wrobleski each gave up an earned run of their own in relief before the Brewers buttoned it up for a 6-2 win.
The Dodgers made a big-time lineup change for Game 4, bumping designated hitter Shohei Ohtani back to the leadoff spot after dropping him to sixth in the batting order on Wednesday, amid his recent slump.
In a must-win game, right-hander Tyler Glasnow (5-2, 3.53 ERA) gets the start for LA, his second of the postseason after facing the Atlanta Braves in the NLDS. The Brewers will start left-hander Shane Drohan (7-5, 4.19 ERA).
