Yoruba nation activist Sunday Adeniyi Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho has said he has been eating sacrifices since childhood and intends to continue the practice until his death, citing his upbringing in Yoruba tradition.
Igboho made the disclosure during a meeting with veteran broadcaster Kolo Olootu, where his birthday was celebrated with a cake-cutting ceremony attended by Nollywood actor Olanrewaju Omiyinka, popularly known as Baba Ijesha.
Recounting an experience from his childhood, Igboho said he once encountered a sacrifice at a junction on his way to farm after returning from school.
He said that he collected the money placed with the sacrifice and ate it before telling his grandmother what he had done.
According to him, his grandmother explained that his upbringing in Yoruba tradition meant eating the sacrifice would not harm him.
“I used to tell people that I was born into Yoruba tradition. I will eat sacrifices until I die. I eat sacrifices at night. I have been eating sacrifices since I was young.
