Gleb Savchenko has been getting some backlash for absolutely going off about his former Dancing with the Stars co-star Alan Bersten. And he’s remaining unbothered and defensive!
Gleb posted a TikTok of himself poolside sipping a drink, which he captioned “POV: Another day of being an ‘unemployed professional hater.’” He also wrote, “Constructive criticism about dance technique.. never personal 🙃.”
This response comes amid Gleb criticizing the choice to have Alan Bersten step in for Val Chmerkovskiy on Dancing with the Stars during Val’s suspension. Speaking on a TikTok live, Gleb said, “Alan, I think he’s Alan. I mean, he’s just not up to the level of dancing. Like, period. Quality, technique. He’s a good dancer, I guess...for TV. But like, if we talk about, like, art dancing? Like creating art? He’s like eh. I don’t know.”
Gleb then added, “I don’t want to talk shit about people, I’m just being honest. I don’t have anything against the guy, I’m just like, why Alan?”
For what it’s worth, Alan and Jenna Dewan ended up getting amazing scores and pulling off a beautiful performance with almost no notice, so!
