AL BAYDA – Forces from the Third Division of Yemen's Giants Brigades achieved new battlefield gains on Friday in Al Bayda province, according to the military platform Battle Affairs - Yemeni Legitimate Forces.
Field military sources said the forces successfully established full control over several military positions that had previously been held by the Houthi militia, marking a significant advance in the ongoing operations in the province.
The sources reported that the offensive was carried out swiftly, enabling the Giants Brigades to overrun key locations and consolidate their presence in the area.
According to reports from the front lines, the operation triggered a broad collapse among Houthi fighters stationed in the targeted positions.
The developments were accompanied by what sources described as mass withdrawals and the flight of militia members from their posts as they came under pressure from the surprise assault and the rapid advance of government-aligned forces.
