Selma Blair is keeping her head up.
The Legally Blonde actress found herself in turmoil earlier this week after an alleged "medical emergency" on an airplane turned violent, and she was accused of kicking and biting a series of officials, including airplane staff, police and nurses.
After her arrest, she appeared in court the next day and pleaded not guilty to two counts of second-degree assault, and subsequently made her planned appearance at 90s Con in Connecticut.

In an Instagram post shared by influencer Brad Deiter, Selma, 54, appears in good spirits and with a smile on her face.
"Having the greatest time at 90s Con!" the influencer wrote in his caption, and fans were quick to take to the comments section under the post and gush over it.
"Selma is the absolute sweetest and getting to chat with her was a gift that kept on giving. Love her and I’m happy she came this year," one wrote, as others followed suit with: "Love you and love her! Amazing," and: "No way! Awesome! I hope she's okay!" as well as: "How sweet is this!"

According to PageSix, Selma was overheard telling a fan at the convention: "I'm doing good. I'm a little nervous, but I'm doing good."
Since the plane altercation, Selma's team has released a statement explaining her side of the story. "Since Sunday night, the public account of what happened to Selma aboard a flight to New York has been built almost entirely on a police statement and a decade-old headline."

"We can, however, correct the record on a few points already in public circulation. Selma Blair experienced a medical emergency on the flight. There was no attempt to open the door of the aircraft. Selma did not intend to harm anyone," it continued, before criticizing online claims that Selma was faking her multiple sclerosis diagnosis she received in 2018.

"What Selma has been able to do physically in the years since is nothing short of a miracle," the statement added.

"She still has bad days, and she lives with pain daily. Selma also has pseudobulbar affect, a neurological condition secondary to her MS, which bears directly on how a medical episode presents to people who do not know her. For the same reason, she travels with a service dog who doesn’t leave her side, and the authorities took her dog from her," it noted.
"There is much more to this story than has been reported, and we ask to consider the entirety of the facts before rushing to judgment, whether in the courtroom or in the court of public opinion," it concluded.
