KUALA LUMPUR: The East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) will offer a 30 per cent discount on economy-class tickets in its first month of operations, Transport Minister Anthony Loke said.
He said the ECRL is targeted to begin operations by mid-December, aiming for December 12.
"Ticket sales are expected to open soon ahead of the launch.
"In conjunction with the opening of ECRL, a 30 per cent discount will be given to the public for all economy tickets for one month, beginning from the operations," he told reporters after opening Transport Expo Asia 2026.
