Gisele Bundchen has been spotted navigating Miami Beach with the help of crutches after apparently injuring her right foot, prompting questions about her condition and how long her recovery might take.
The 46-year-old supermodel was photographed leaving the Delano Hotel on Friday, October 16, wearing a large black medical boot secured around her right ankle.
Gisele Bundchen looks totally ripped in Miami gym but that's not newR.O.
She appeared to be keeping her injured foot off the ground as she moved toward a waiting vehicle, relying on crutches to get around.
Bundchen opted for a casual outfit consisting of a black tank top and cutoff denim shorts. Her uninjured foot appeared to be wearing a belted sandal, while the medical boot covered the other.
Despite the attention surrounding the sighting, there is currently no confirmed explanation for how the injury occurred. Bundchen has not publicly detailed what happened, and her representative was not immediately available for comment when contacted by Page Six.
TMZ, which also published images and footage of the Brazilian model, reported that the circumstances surrounding the injury were unclear.
There has been no confirmed diagnosis, timetable for recovery or indication that the apparent injury is connected to a more serious medical issue.
The images show that Bundchen was using assistance to walk, but they do not establish the extent of the damage or whether she will need to modify her professional commitments.
For now, her recovery remains the central question, particularly given the importance she places on physical activity and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Gisele Bundchen's fitness routine faces an unexpected interruption
Bundchen has long been open about her commitment to exercise, which she approaches as part of her everyday life rather than simply a way to maintain her appearance.
In an interview with i-D magazine published in September, the supermodel described her positive attitude toward staying active, explaining that she tries to find opportunities to move regardless of the activity involved.
“I work out every day because, for me, working out, I don’t see it as something I have to do. I see it as something I get to do,” she told the publication.
She also emphasized that exercise does not have to mean following a rigid training plan or spending hours in a gym.
“It doesn’t matter if I’m surfing, if I’m playing volleyball with my daughter,” she added. “If I’m paddleboarding. Whatever it is, I feel like it’s a moment of being.”
Bundchen has also discussed incorporating different forms of exercise into her routine, including weight training, Pilates and yoga.
According to her recent interview, she lifts weights three times a week, practices Pilates once or twice weekly and does yoga two or three times a week.
An injury affecting her foot could temporarily complicate some of those activities, particularly those that involve standing, balance or pressure on the ankle.
However, without further information from Bündchen or her representatives, it would be premature to suggest which exercises she must avoid or how long any restrictions might last.
The priority will be understanding the injury and following appropriate medical guidance before returning to her usual schedule.
The spotlight remains on her life beyond the injury
The sighting also comes amid renewed public interest in Bundchen's personal life following the release of Lars Anderson's biography, Brady: An American Story and the Price of Greatness.
The book revisits the breakdown of her marriage to former NFL quarterback Tom Brady, with accounts of the tensions that reportedly developed during the final months of their relationship.
According to reports about the biography, Bundchen ultimately brought the marriage to an end with the words “we’re not compatible.”
The book also describes an alleged attempt by Brady to repair their relationship with a trip to the Bahamas during the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' 2022 training camp. These are accounts attributed to the biography, rather than a new statement from Bundchen about the split.
The couple finalized their divorce in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage. They share two children, Benjamin and Vivian, while Brady also has an older son, Jack, with actress Bridget Moynahan.
Bundchen has since entered a new chapter of her life. She married jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente in December 2025, and the couple welcomed their first child together in February of that year.
Although the circumstances of her foot injury remain a mystery, the latest photographs provide no basis for concluding that her overall health is in danger.
The use of crutches and a medical boot suggests that she is taking precautions while moving around, but the severity of the injury has not been disclosed.
Until Bundchen shares more information, questions about her recovery and the possible effect on her exercise routine or upcoming commitments will remain unanswered.
For now, there is no confirmed indication of when she will be able to resume her normal activities.
