Presenter and digital creator Pamela Mtanga is making her return to Mzansi television in style, appearing on not one but two shows that are set to keep her firmly in the spotlight.
The media personality is hosting “VIP Lounge”, a new magazine and lifestyle show on channel 161, alongside musician and content creator Zulu Mkhathini. She is also stepping into the world of reality dating as the host of Mzansi Magic’s upcoming show, “Elevator Love Mzansi”.
With both projects marking exciting additions to her television career, Mtanga is continuing to expand her presence across entertainment, fashion and lifestyle.
Pamela Mtanga returns to television with VIP Lounge
”VIP Lounge” is a bold new magazine and lifestyle show bringing viewers closer to the latest conversations, trends and happenings in Mzansi.
For Mtanga, the opportunity marks a special return to television after spending a few years away from the small screen.
In a press release, the presenter shared her excitement about joining the show and reconnecting with television audiences.
“I’m really excited to be joining ‘VIP Lounge’. It’s been a couple of years since I’ve been on TV, so that makes this opportunity all the more special.
“I’ve always wanted to be part of television that feels current, fun, and connected to what’s happening in Mzansi right now. I’m also excited to share the space with Zulu, we’ve already had so much fun putting it together, and I can’t wait for everyone to finally see it,” said Mtanga.
From lifestyle conversations to finding love
Mtanga’s television comeback does not stop at lifestyle entertainment. She is also set to host “Elevator Love Mzansi”, Mzansi Magic’s new reality dating show, which premieres on October 18.
The project adds another dimension to her presenting portfolio, placing her at the centre of a dating format that promises to bring romance and entertainment to viewers.
With “VIP Lounge” already on screens and “Elevator Love Mzansi” preparing for its debut, Mtanga is building momentum with two distinct television offerings.
A growing force in fashion and entertainment
Beyond her television work, Mtanga has established herself as one of South Africa’s prominent style influencers, combining her work as a presenter, master of ceremonies and digital content creator.
In 2022, Meta recognised her as the only South African featured in its global Creators of Tomorrow campaign, highlighting emerging creators shaping the future of digital content.
Her influence in fashion has also earned her recognition, including the Glamour Style Influencer of the Year award in 2025 and the Top Personality and Influencer title at the Youth-Owned Brands Awards.
A busy 2026 on and off screen
The year has already been a busy one for Mtanga. Earlier in 2026, she hosted the National Arts and Culture Awards, which were broadcast on SABC 1.
She has also continued to make her mark in the fashion and lifestyle space. In August, she hosted the Malondie SS26 x Vaseline Cera-Glow Fashion Experience and returned as the master of ceremonies for Brutal Fruit’s The Pink Table event.
With television presenting, fashion experiences and major live events continuing to feature in her schedule, Mtanga is keeping her career dynamic.
Now, with two television shows adding to her growing portfolio, the presenter is entering a new chapter that brings together her passion for entertainment, her on-screen personality and her influence in the digital space.
