The Oyo State Police Command has arrested three suspects, including an Indian national and two security operatives, over a viral video showing the alleged assault of two truck drivers at Karma Agric Feeds and Foods Limited in Ibadan.
The Command’s Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Olayinka Ayanlade, disclosed this in a statement issued on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.
He said the incident occurred at the company, located at Kilometer 12, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, following a disagreement over the parking of a truck that had delivered goods to the facility.
According to the statement, the Commissioner of Police, CP Abimbola Ayodeji Olugbenga, directed detectives to identify and arrest those involved after the Command became aware of the viral video at about 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
Preliminary findings indicated that the disagreement began on Saturday when the truck driver objected to a designated parking spot over concerns that it could damage the vehicle’s tyres.
The truck owner, Akinpelu Sarafa, 47, reportedly said the driver was compelled to park at the designated spot, after which one of the truck’s tyres burst.

The disagreement escalated when the driver requested a replacement tyre, but the company allegedly declined. The driver then reportedly used the truck to block the company’s entrance, triggering a physical confrontation involving the drivers, security operatives and an Indian national.
“The two victims have been identified as Ridwan Olajide, male, aged 34, and Taiwo Yinusa, male, aged 37. Both were admitted to a hospital in the Academy area of Ibadan for medical attention. As part of efforts to establish the facts, the Investigating Police Officer visited them at the hospital and obtained their statements.
“Following the police intervention, three suspects were arrested: Olowu Oluwadamilare and Sodeke Olamide, both male security operatives attached to the company, and Harjit Singh, an Indian national, male, aged 46, associated with the company. Investigations are ongoing to establish their respective roles in the incident and determine the culpability of all parties involved.
“The case has been transferred to the Special Enquiry Bureau (SEB), Eleyele, Ibadan, for further investigation and necessary action in accordance with the law,” the statement reads.
The Command reiterated its commitment to protecting lives and property, stressing that the law applies equally to individuals and organisations.
It urged members of the public to remain calm and allow the investigation to proceed, adding that anyone found culpable would be dealt with in accordance with the law.
The police also provided the Oyo State Call Response Centre’s toll-free line, 615, and the Command Control Room numbers, 08081768614 and 07055495413, for members of the public to report emergencies or provide relevant information.
