Production has begun on The Gentlemen Season 3, with Robert Carlyle, Elijah Wood, Orlando Bloom, Dexter Fletcher, Bruna Marquezine, Ed Speleers, Saffron Burrows and Bugzy Malone joining the cast.
Sharing the announcement on Friday, streamer Netflix wrote on X, “Robert Carlyle, Elijah Wood, Orlando Bloom, Dexter Fletcher, Bruna Marquezine, Ed Speleers, Saffron Burrows and Bugzy Malone join the cast of THE GENTLEMEN Season 3. Now in production.”
The series, a television spin-off of Ritchie’s 2019 film of the same name, follows Eddie after he inherits his family estate and discovers that it is at the centre of a sprawling cannabis empire. The first season also featured Kaya Scodelario, Daniel Ings and Giancarlo Esposito.
Season 2 of Guy Ritchie’s stylish crime drama, which stars Theo James as aristocrat-turned-drug lord Eddie Horniman, premiered on Netflix on September 3.
The new season will continue Eddie and Susie Glass’ criminal adventures as their increasingly complicated empire expands beyond Britain.
Ritchie is set to return for Season 3, continuing his involvement with the series’ distinctive mix of slick action, dark humour and British gangster drama. Netflix has not yet announced a release date or revealed detailed plot and casting information for the third season.
Also, as per reports, Meghan Markle is set to return to acting with the third season. However, the makers are yet to make a confirmation.
