Bomb squad called to Perth industrial estate after suspicious package discovered

Bomb disposal experts were called to an industrial estate in Perth after a suspicious package was discovered.

The item was found within a premises on Whitefriars Crescent around 2.40pm on Friday.

Emergency services, including Explosive Ordnance Disposal, attended the scene and the package was assessed.

It was found to not pose any risk.

No injuries were reported and all roads surrounding the premises have reopened.
