The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Kuwait’s solidarity with Saudi Arabia following the crash of a helicopter belonging to the Saudi Ministry of National Guard in the Najran region, which resulted in the deaths of two officers serving as crew members.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the ministry extended Kuwait’s sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to Saudi Arabia and the families of the two deceased officers, praying to Almighty God to grant them mercy and give their families patience and solace.
In a separate statement, the ministry expressed Kuwait’s sympathy with Turkey following floods that swept through Istanbul, claiming several lives, leaving others missing and causing significant material damage.
The ministry conveyed Kuwait’s sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the government and people of Turkey and to the families of the victims, while wishing those injured a speedy recovery.
