Saint Sasha, the former girlfriend of Breaking Bad star RJ Mitte, has spoken publicly about their relationship following the actor's death at the age of 34, describing him as a person whose kindness left a lasting mark on her.
Sasha posted an emotional message on Instagram on October 13, alongside two photographs from their time together.

The images showed the former couple sharing affectionate moments, including a picture of them smiling at home and another of them cuddling outdoors in the sunshine.
In her tribute, Sasha reflected on falling in love for the first time as a teenager and credited Mitte with helping her understand what a supportive relationship could look like.
“I fell in love for the first time when I was 18. RJ was the first person to show me how a man is supposed to treat a woman,” Sasha wrote on Instagram.
She continued by explaining how the actor encouraged her and helped her develop confidence during their relationship.
“He was the first partner to build me up and make me feel unstoppable. He had one of the kindest and rarest hearts I’d ever had the privilege to experience and he was still a friend. I can’t believe this is real.”
Sasha's message made clear that their connection had remained meaningful even after their romantic relationship ended. She also expressed disbelief at the news of his passing, remembering the effect he had on her during a formative period of her life.
“Never in any lifetime could I forget him and how he made me feel. He was the first and last of his kind,” she added. “Thank you for everything, endlessly, RJ. I love you, homie.”
Her tribute was among the personal messages shared after the actor's death, as fans, friends and former colleagues remembered a performer whose influence extended beyond his best-known television role.
What is known about Saint Sasha and her relationship with RJ Mitte?
Sasha is described in media reports as a Portland-based photographer. Beyond that, relatively little verified information about her personal background has been made public.
Her Instagram tribute has offered a glimpse into her past relationship with Mitte, but she has not provided a detailed public account of their time together.
The photographs she shared suggest that the pair maintained warm memories of their relationship. Her words focused less on celebrity or professional achievements and more on the personal qualities she remembered: encouragement, affection and the feeling of being valued by a partner.
Mitte's death was reported on October 12, 2026, in Texas. He was 34. The circumstances of his death prompted an outpouring of grief from people who knew him, as well as viewers who had followed his career since Breaking Bad.
Reports about the cause of death have varied in their treatment of the investigation, with authorities indicating that further examination was required.
Sasha was not the actor's partner at the time of his death. Mitte became engaged to Kennedy Suarez in October 2025 after the couple had been together for five years. He proposed at a charity event in Carlsbad, California, benefiting United Cerebral Palsy of San Diego, an organisation with which he had worked as an ambassador.
Following the engagement, Mitte told People that he was looking forward to building a future with Suarez.
“I’m thrilled to have found my person, my partner in life who makes me want to be better, no matter what we’re doing,” the actor said.
He also expressed his excitement about their plans together, adding: “Kennedy is my everything, and I can’t wait to officially start our life together and see what adventures life takes us on next.”
Suarez also celebrated their engagement publicly, describing her 30th birthday as a fairytale and expressing happiness at having her future husband by her side.
Mitte's personal life has therefore been remembered through different relationships and connections, each representing a separate part of his life. Sasha's message reflects the significance of their teenage romance, while his engagement to Suarez marked a later chapter in which he was planning a future with his longtime partner.
The actor was widely recognised for playing Walter “Flynn” White Jr., the son of Bryan Cranston's character, across all five seasons of AMC's acclaimed crime drama Breaking Bad. He also used his public profile to promote disability awareness and inclusion, drawing on his own experience living with cerebral palsy.
Sasha's tribute has brought attention to a more private side of Mitte's life: the memories he created with people outside the entertainment industry and the relationships that continued to matter after they ended.
Her words do not attempt to explain his death. Instead, they preserve her personal memories of someone she describes as uniquely kind, supportive and impossible to forget.
