Snoopy celebrates Halloween and Day of the Dead with two new Timex Weekender watches

Timex has unveiled two new Peanuts-themed Weekender watches featuring Snoopy in Halloween and Día de los Muertos-inspired designs. Both feature 40 mm cases, Indiglo illumination and decorative leather straps.

Timex has expanded its Peanuts watch collection with two new seasonal models, just in time for Halloween. The new Peanuts x Timex Weekender Pumpkin (TW2Y85800) and Peanuts x Timex Weekender Day of the Dead (TW2Y85900) retain the familiar Weekender design but add elaborate Snoopy-themed artwork that extends beyond the watch faces to their leather straps.

The Weekender Pumpkin features Snoopy perched atop a carved orange Jack-o’-lantern, with Woodstock sitting on his head. The illustration occupies much of the grey dial, which also features Arabic numeral hour markers and silver-tone hands. Its brown leather strap carries an embossed bat pattern, further reinforcing the Halloween theme.

Meanwhile, the Weekender Day of the Dead takes inspiration from the Mexican Día de los Muertos celebrations. It depicts Snoopy surrounded by colourful floral illustrations, with decorative sugar skull-inspired elements and a detailed hat. The artwork is complemented by a black leather strap with an embossed paisley pattern. Unlike Halloween, Día de los Muertos is traditionally associated with remembering and celebrating deceased loved ones.

Underneath their designs, both watches share nearly identical specifications. They feature 40 mm polished silver-tone cases, quartz movements, mineral crystal protection and 50 metres (5 ATM) of water resistance. Both models also feature Timex’s signature Indiglo backlighting, allowing their illustrated dials to illuminate in the dark.

The TW2Y85800 and TW2Y85900 use replaceable CR2016 batteries and come with 20 mm leather straps secured by conventional buckles. Their straightforward three-hand analogue movements keep the focus on the artwork rather than additional complications. Interestingly, Timex has previously released a Pumpkin Dial Weekender (TW2Y12300), although the new TW2Y85800 features different artwork and a redesigned strap.

Both the Peanuts x Timex Weekender Pumpkin and Day of the Dead are listed on Timex’s UK website for £155 each. Timex has not specified whether either model will receive a wider international release.
