Krafton (259960.KS) is recruiting more than 100 entry-level employees, the largest intake since the company was founded, as it moves to accelerate new AI-based businesses by securing talent skilled in using artificial intelligence.
The game maker said on the 13th that it will run the "2027 Krafton Internship Program," which leads to full-time employment. The hiring drive is designed to recruit and develop "AI Native" entry-level talent company-wide to lead new AI-based businesses. Krafton plans to make the AI Native open recruitment of entry-level staff an annual event starting with this round.
The company is recruiting across six tracks: AI research, tech, support, business, game development (programming) and game development (design). Graduates and soon-to-be graduates of universities in Korea and abroad are eligible to apply. The screening process will focus on candidates' ability to use AI, along with general reasoning skills and global competencies.
Applicants will go through document screening, an aptitude test, an AI competency assessment and interviews. The AI competency assessment will use Cofa-Probe, an AI Native recruitment and evaluation solution developed in-house by Krafton.
Applications will be accepted on Krafton's recruitment website from Oct. 13 to Oct. 23. Tests and interviews will follow in November and December, with final successful candidates to be announced in January. Those selected will join the company in February and work in operating divisions for five months, after which their conversion to permanent employment will be decided in July based on performance reviews.
"As Krafton expands its new AI-based businesses, the need for talent to lead them alongside us has grown, and we have widened job opportunities and room for growth for young people accordingly," said Han So-young, head of Krafton's HR division. "Starting with this open recruitment, we will continue our bold challenge of creating new business opportunities by combining the capabilities of AI Native juniors with the expertise of our existing organization."
