Formula 1’s official event page confirms the race schedule but reports no cancellation, postponement, circuit change, regulatory decision, or major security action. The organisers’ site names Eventim as its ticket provider and gives the race time as 14:00 Brasília time on Sunday 8 November.

Câmara Eyes Possible Practice Run

Haas driver Rafael Câmara, confirmed for 2027, said there were “good chances” of driving in a free-practice session at Interlagos, as Brazilian outlet Bahia Notícias reported on 16 October. He added that the decision is not his to make.
This is an expectation, not a confirmed entry or an official session announcement. Haas confirmed Câmara as a race driver for 2027, so two Brazilians, with Gabriel Bortoleto, will line up together for the first time since 2016.
Title Race Could Reach Interlagos
The São Paulo event could have major title implications, but no confirmed São Paulo-specific title outcome exists as of 23 October. Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli leads teammate George Russell by 102 points after the Singapore Grand Prix (340 to 238), according to Crash.net’s standings. He could clinch the title in Austin on 25 October only with a win and a very poor Russell result.
That possibility remains conditional and does not establish that the title will be decided before Interlagos. The current race weekend is the United States Grand Prix in Austin, running 23-25 October.
What It Means for US Readers
For US-based fans, the São Paulo Grand Prix starts at 12:00 noon ET on Sunday 8 November, making it a midday viewing event rather than an early-morning one. Qualifying airs at 13:00 ET on Saturday 7 November.
The race is Round 20 of the 2026 Formula 1 season, with the championship potentially still undecided when the series arrives in Brazil. Antonelli could clinch the title in Austin on 25 October, but that route is narrow. If not, Interlagos moves closer to a decider.
What Is Not Known
The final entry list and whether Rafael Câmara will take part in an Interlagos free-practice session remain unconfirmed. No official announcement has been made by Haas or Ferrari.
No fresh official statement from Brazilian federal or São Paulo authorities, police, courts, ministries, the FIA, or Formula 1 was identified concerning a new threat, incident, investigation, or operational change at Interlagos. The latest material does not establish any change to the published timetable, ticketing arrangements, or circuit status.
