Richie Solaiman was once a regular presence on television, starring in dramas year after year.
But after moving to the United States with her family, she gradually stepped back from acting.
She has been living in Bangladesh again for the past few years, and her appearances on television have become more frequent.
Now, she is gearing up for a return to long-running TV dramas with AI Junior, directed by Nazrul Islam Raju.
Earlier this year, Richie appeared in the seven-episode miniseries Apurnota. With AI Junior, she is returning to the long-running drama format after years away.
Filming is already underway, but she is keeping details under wraps due to restrictions imposed by the channel.
“Yes, I’m acting in AI Junior. That much I can confirm. I can’t share anything else right now. I’ll talk about the project in more detail after it is officially announced at a press conference,” she said.
According to sources, AI Junior will premiere on Deepto TV soon. More details about the series are expected to be revealed at a press conference on October 25.
Richie is also looking forward to the release of her first full-length feature film, Robi in Dhaka, which is expected to hit cinemas this year.
