A Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) bus driver was killed after a landslide struck his bus at Burliyar, near the Coimbatore–Nilgiris district border, late Friday night. Burliyar recorded 250 mm of rainfall in 24 hours, triggering multiple landslips along the ghat roads.
