Three young men have been arrested and charged with breaking into a home in Sydney’s inner city, after one occupant was allegedly fatally stabbed and the other seriously injured.
On August 18, police arrived at a unit on Pitt Street in Waterloo where they found a man, 35, suffering serious stab wounds and a woman, 34, with less severe injuries.

The man was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in critical condition and died about 8.45pm the same night.
Just over two months after the alleged killing, Queensland Police arrested two 18-year-old men at a home on Leichney Street in Toowoomba on Tuesday.
The two men were extradited to NSW and taken to Mascot Police Station where they were both charged with murder and wounding somebody with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Police vision shows one of the men being paraded by NSW Police detectives through Sydney Airport’s domestic terminal as commuters go about their day.

One of the men will appear before a Children’s Court because he allegedly committed the crime when he was 17, and the second man will appear in Bail Division Court on Friday.
On Thursday, a 20-year-old man was arrested on Morehead Street in Redfern, and he was also taken to Mascot Police Station and charged with murder.
He will appear in Bail Division Court on Friday.
More to come.
