Officers attended the property and, with the assistance of North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, gained entry, where they found the man dead.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said the man appeared to have chemical burns and specialist resources from the police, ambulance and fire services were called to assess any potential risks.
The spokesman said: “Following an initial assessment, it was established that there was no ongoing risk of harm to emergency service personnel or members of the public.
“The death is being treated as unexplained. Officers are assisting with preparations of a report for the coroner.”
A large emergency services presence was seen on Franklin Road on Saturday afternoon, with fire engines, several ambulances and multiple police vehicles attending.
