Amazon just dropped the Arlo Essential Wireless Security Camera 2K (3rd Gen) to $52, down from its $69.99 recommended retail price. That saves you $17.99, which is a 26% discount off the RRP, and it is a record-low price, so this is a strong time to grab one.
The Arlo Essential 3rd Gen is a wire-free outdoor security camera designed for easy home monitoring without the need to run cables. It records in 2K resolution and has a 130° field of view, giving you a wider view of what is happening around your yard, driveway, or front door. It also supports color night vision, which can help make details easier to spot after dark.
Arlo also packs in an integrated spotlight, a built-in siren, and full-duplex 2-way audio. That means you can light up an area, sound an alarm, and talk with visitors through the app. The camera connects directly via Wi-Fi and works with Apple Home, Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings, and IFTTT, so it should fit into many smart-home setups.
For people who want more detailed alerts, AI notifications for people, vehicles, animals, and packages are available through an Arlo Secure subscription. On its own, though, this camera already covers the main features many shoppers want in an outdoor model: solid video quality, app-based alerts, and useful deterrent tools.
At $52, this Amazon deal puts the Arlo Essential Wireless Security Camera 2K (3rd Gen) at a new record low, making it a deal worth checking out while the price lasts.
