KUALA LUMPUR: The Raja of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Putra Jamalullail, visited Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad at the National Heart Institute (IJN) yesterday.
Dr Mahathir shared news of the visit in a Facebook post.
The former prime minister was admitted to IJN on Sept 29 for observation following the death of his wife, Tun Dr Hasmah Mohd Ali, a day earlier.
On Oct 1, his son, Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir, shared an update on his father's condition, saying it was better for Dr Mahathir to remain at IJN for now as being at home would remind him of Dr Hasmah.
Dr Hasmah, 100, died at IJN on Sept 28 and was laid to rest at the National Cemetery in Putrajaya with a state funeral on the same day.
