Kylie Jenner may have surprised us with her debut at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, but sister Kendall Jenner did not make it after all. The supermodel was notably missing from the runway, which was graced not only by her sister, but also by her besties and fellow supers Gigi and Bella Hadid, as well as many other angels.
A couple of days ago, the lingerie brand shared a list of the models confirmed to be walking the runway, and Kendall was not in it, which left fans thinking that she would be skipping the event once again. And indeed she did.
Kendall famously made her VS show debut in 2015, alongside friend Gigi. Then, Kenny wore a pale-blue Swarovski crystal lingerie looks, as well as a laced-up red-and-blue corset with a train.
Kendall walked the show again in 2016, earning her wings, and returned to the VS runway in 2018. As fans know, the show went on hiatus for a few years after that, and when it returned, in its new and improved shape, in 2024, Kendall did not return with it.
This year, the model lineup included the Hadids as well as season angels Alessandra Ambrosio and Adriana Lima, and newer darlings like Devyn Garcia and Barbara Palvin.
Kendall has not spoken about her decision to skip the event, but her absence tonight may come as she has had an incredibly busy season and year. The model spent all of fashion month flying across the globe to walk different big-name runways: in late September, she even went from the Bottega Veneta runway in Milan to the L’Oréal Paris runway in Paris. And just last night, she attended the star-studded Academy Museum Gala (with boyfriend Jacob Elordi, no less). So maybe she deserves some rest!
