Former Chicago Bulls star and four-time NBA champion Horace Grant is launching a new television series featuring several notable figures from his playing career, including legendary head coach Phil Jackson and former teammate Charles Oakley.
The series, “Legends in Session with Horace Grant,” is scheduled to debut Oct. 24 on Chicago Sports Network (CHSN), following the Bulls’ 2026-27 home opener. The program will explore the careers and personal experiences of former NBA players, coaches and other prominent athletes through conversations with Grant.
The 61-year-old Grant spent 17 seasons in the NBA, representing the Bulls, Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Lakers and Seattle SuperSonics. He helped Chicago capture three consecutive championships from 1991 through 1993 before joining Orlando, where he played a significant role in the Magic’s run to the 1995 NBA Finals.

Grant later reunited with Jackson in Los Angeles, winning his fourth championship with the Lakers in 2001.
The former All-Star explained his motivation for bringing together familiar faces from his playing days.
“You know these guys as legends. But there are so many stories you haven’t heard,” Grant said in a press release. “I wanted to sit down with friends, teammates, and rivals and talk about what it took for them to become legends. You get the big moments, but you also get the personal side. That’s what Legends in Session is about.”

Oakley will join Grant for the premiere Oct. 24, revisiting their lone season together in Chicago during the 1987-88 campaign. Oakley helped guide Grant through his rookie season before the Bulls traded him to the New York Knicks in 1988.
Jackson will appear in the second episode Nov. 4, discussing his relationship with Grant and their four championships together across Chicago and Los Angeles.
Former Bulls forward Toni Kukoc will headline the third installment Nov. 16. Kukoc and Grant played together during the 1993-94 season and currently maintain ties to Chicago as advisers to the organization.
Other scheduled guests include Robert Horry, Vernon Maxwell, Bill Cartwright, Kendall Gill, Harvey Grant and Stacey King. Former MLB players Jose Rijo and Ron Kittle will also participate.
Beyond discussing their careers, the athletes will contribute signed memorabilia to charitable auctions benefiting organizations of their choosing.
Each hourlong episode will incorporate elements of a traditional basketball game, dividing conversations into segments modeled after quarters and halftime.
The series was filmed at Urban Grind Studios in Chicago, with Wally Lockard III serving as executive producer.
Following its Chicago debut, the program is expected to become available through additional distribution platforms, including Roku and Apple TV. New episodes will air every other week.
