Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — China’s Jinan Fengmian Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd. plans to build an industrial complex in Uzbekistan’s Ferghana Region to process raw cotton and produce cottonseed oil.
The investment project was discussed at a meeting between Ferghana Region Governor Khayrullo Bozorov and the company’s director, Qiuli Liu, the regional administration’s press service reported.
Following the talks, the parties agreed to move towards the practical implementation of the project proposals and continue cooperation in this area.
Jinan Fengmian Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd. was established in 2012 in Jinan, in China’s Shandong Province.
The company specialises in designing, manufacturing and supplying technological equipment for raw cotton processing.
It has its own production facilities and engineering expertise. The company also has experience supplying equipment to international markets, including countries in Central Asia.
Joint projects with Chinese investors are being implemented in various sectors across the Ferghana Region. Regional authorities note that new partners are showing interest in the investment opportunities available in the region.
