Last week, Sarah Jessica Parker had an evening out in her native New York, alongside husband, Matthew Broderick, 64, and their eldest child, James Wilkie, 23.
The trio attended the opening night of Other Desert Cities at New York's Hudson Theatre on Sunday, 18 October and walked the red carpet in style.

Worldwide style icon Sarah Jessica wowed onlookers in a simple, little black dress, designed by high-end brand Reformation. Bringing her signature glamour to the occasion, the fitted style featured embossed floral details, a straight neckline and a fringed hem. She added a '90s-style cropped black cardigan, pointed heels and a sparkling handbag.

Sarah Jessica Parker's new hair
Sarah Jessica's blonde, flowing hair appeared to have had a slight refresh - it looked a little shorter than her last red-carpet appearance, with her ends skimming past her décolletage. Her hair also appeared to have been lifted with an ashy blonde colour from the root.

Channelling her famed fashion-loving alter ego, Carrie Bradshaw, SJP donned a beautiful floral, semi-sheer gown laced with ribbons by Simone Rocha. Although her outfit cemented her style icon status, it was her cascading Rapunzel mane that hit headlines; her tresses finished at her thighs, looking particularly long.

The Hocus Pocus actress looked to have embraced her grey hair, too, letting strands frame her face.
Going grey has never been trendier
"Grey hair can be empowering and liberating, especially if you've spent many years colouring your hair," Siobhan Haug, Co-Founder of Haug London Haus, previously told HELLO!.

"The trend we see most of in the salon is our clients embracing panels of silver whites in key places, like framing the face, or as a streak running through their hair. This way, they can celebrate what their hair is doing while also enjoying the fun and versatility of having their hair coloured, just in a slightly more low-maintenance way," she noted.
"Celebrities like Sarah Jessica Parker do this in a really clever way; they keep nuances of silver whites shining through, and add little strands of light in the form of highlights or a gloss colour," she quipped.
