Four passengers sustained serious injuries, including multiple fractures, in a collision involving a Toyota Highlander and a commercial Mazda bus at Otedola, inward Berger, Lagos.
The crash occurred during the morning rush hour near Jubilee Gate, prompting a joint rescue operation by the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) and the Lagos State Ambulance Service (LASAMBUS).

The injured passengers were rescued from the wreckage and taken to the Lagos State Accident and Emergency Centre at the Toll Gate for immediate medical attention.
LASTMA said its operatives also managed traffic at the scene to prevent a secondary collision along the busy corridor.
Police personnel from the Isheri Division provided security during the rescue and recovery operations.
The authority said the two drivers involved in the crash were apprehended and handed over to the police for investigation and possible prosecution.
The vehicles were also transferred to the relevant security authorities as part of the investigation.
LASTMA General Manager, Olalekan Bakare-Oki, commended the agency’s operatives, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), LASAMBUS personnel and the police for their prompt response and collaboration.
