M&S’s ‘mouth-watering’ new Dine In deal feeds 4 for just £3.75 per person

Marks & Spencer has been on a roll with its product launches of late, from The Big Six biscuit selection to festive treats. 

And the retailer’s next release is bound to prove just as popular, as two brand new Dine In deals are hitting the FoodHall over the next few days.

For those unfamiliar with the meal deal, it allows shoppers to choose between mains and sides for a set price.

M&S claims the food is ‘restaurant quality’ and it usually serves between two to four people, depending on the deal.

Most recently, the Steak & Chips Dine In has been available, which let customers pick one main, one side, and one sauce to create ‘the ultimate’ steak night dinner for two; however, this offer ends on October 13.

And taking its place in shops is a ‘great value’ option that’s ideal for pasta lovers.

The new £15 Italian Dine In deal hits the shelves on October 14 and will run until November 3. 

It includes two large mains and two sides, which is enough food to feed four people, according to M&S.

This works out as £3.75 per person, and for this price you can choose from an array of dishes, including a new Marry Me Chicken Pasta Bake, Beef Lasagne, Chicken Arrabbiata, and Macaroni Cheese with Crispy Bacon.

There’s also a Meatball Pasta Bake, Beef Bolognese Pasta Bake, a Chicken Pasta Bake, and Tomato & Mozzarella Pasta Bake. 

To accompany your mains, there’s a selection of tasty sides with everything from Garlic Bread Slices to Santini Tomato Salad and Chunky Chips.

If you’d prefer your dinner to be more of a takeaway vibe, the retailer has you covered too, as there’s a brand new Takeaway Dine In deal.

This one is available until October 27 and currently costs £16 for two mains and two sides for four people, making it £4 per head.

However, from Thursday, October 15, the price will drop to £15 to match the Italian one.

For this offer, the dishes span Indian and Chinese cuisines, with favourites like Chicken Tikka Masala, King Prawn Bhuna, and Sweet & Sour Chicken. 

Sides include Vegetable Samosas, Sesame Prawn Toasts, Vegetable Spring Rolls, Pilau Rice, Indian Spiced Roti, and Egg Fried Rice. 

The retailer says its ‘mouth-watering’ deals are ideal for all occasions, be it a midweek dinner for the family, a date at home, or just a night off from cooking.

And they claim the possibilities are endless when it comes to the various main and side combinations, with a total of 4,098 different combinations across the Steak, Italian, and Takeaway deals. This is apparently enough to make a different meal every week for the next 78 years.

A spokesperson for M&S added: ‘We’re helping families make their money go further this October with brilliant deals serving up cosy comforts, maximum flavour, and serious savings.’
