Braelon Allen to lead Jets’ backfield again in Week 6 after latest Breece Hall update appeared first on ClutchPoints. Add ClutchPoints as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
The New York Jets will be facing off against the New England Patriots in Week 6, and they’ll be without a few of their key offensive players, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
“Jets once again have ruled out RB Breece Hall (quad) and WR Adonai Mitchell (finger), this time for Sunday’s game vs. the Patriots,” Schefter wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
This will be the third straight game that Hall has missed, which means Braelon Allen will once again take the lead in the backfield for the Jets. That hasn’t been a problem for Allen, as he’s made an impact when he’s on the field. In their win against the Cleveland Browns, he finished with 116 rushing yards and a touchdown.

If he continues to run the ball like that, Hall won’t have to feel like he has to rush back to help the team.
As for Mitchell, he’s also missed the last few weeks with his injury, and head coach Aaron Glenn noted that he had a procedure done.
“AD Mitchell had a small procedure on his hand but he’s moving his fingers around well. He’s still week to week, Aaron Glenn said,” Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
It’s uncertain when Mitchell will be back on the field, but it looks like it may take some time. For now, the Jets have to rely on players such as Garrett Wilson and Kenyon Sadiq to make plays for them on offense, and they’ve done a solid job so far this season.
The Jets don’t have the easiest matchup this week, as the Patriots are one of the better defenses in the league, and it looks like Christian Gonzalez is returning from injury.
