A year ago, the Milwaukee Brewers headed to southern California down, 0-2, in their National League Championship Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
They're back at Dodger Stadium for Game 3 on Wednesday, Oct. 14, as they continue the 2026 NLCS against the Dodgers in a rematch. But this year, the series is flipped.
The Brewers have a 2-0 series lead and are getting closer to their first World Series berth in 44 years, while the Dodgers seek to regroup and get their quest for a three-peat back on track.
Game 3 of the 2026 NLCS is set for 7 p.m. Central, televised on FS1.
Playing in front of an electric home crowd, the Brewers won a 2-1 nailbiter in Game 1 and then responded multiple times behind William Contreras' huge day and clutch performances to go with an unhittable bullpen in a 7-4 Game 2 win.
The Brewers and Dodgers get the stage to themselves with the American League on a travel day before the AL Championship Series resumes Thursday, Oct. 15. There's a new start time for ALCS Game 3 due to an inclement weather forecast for Cleveland.
The Tampa Bay Rays and Cleveland Guardians split the first two games of the ALCS.

Brewers vs Dodgers probable pitchers
- Brewers' Robert Gasser (5-5, 3.87 ERA in the regular season) vs. Dodgers' Blake Snell (4-1, 1.90 ERA).
Gasser makes his second start of the playoffs for the Brewers. The 27-year-old started Milwaukee's series-clinching Game 4 of its NL Division Series against the San Diego Padres on Oct. 7. He went four innings, allowing one run and three hits, with three strikeouts and one walk.
In their Game 2 win, the Brewers got some postseason revenge on Dodgers pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who threw a complete game against them in the 2025 NLCS. Can they do something similar to Blake Snell, who was equally as dominant when facing them last year?
Snell had one of the best pitching performances of his career in the 2025 NLCS, getting the Dodgers off to a 1-0 series lead, when he faced the minimum and threw eight innings while striking out 10. The Brewers managed just one hit off him.
Snell, 33, last pitched Oct. 4 in the Dodgers’ Game 2 NLDS loss to the Atlanta Braves at home. He went 3⅔ innings, allowing only a first-inning run and striking out five. But he also walked five.
The two-time Cy Young Award winner pitched in only nine games during the regular season due to injuries.
