PHILIPPINE National Bank (PNB), through its brokerage arm PNB Securities, Inc., has partnered with ATRAM Trust Corp. to expand access to its investment solutions.
Under the institutional trust agent partnership between the two companies, more Filipinos will gain access to professionally managed investment products.
PNB said the partnership combines its client reach with PNB Securities’ brokerage expertise and ATRAM’s asset and wealth management capabilities to expand the investment offerings available to clients.
“At PNB, we continuously seek strategic partnerships that create greater value for our clients,” PNB President and Chief Executive Officer Edwin R. Bautista said in a statement on Wednesday. “Through this collaboration with ATRAM and PNB Securities, we are broadening the investment solutions available to our clients and giving them greater choice as they work toward their long-term financial goals.”
“This partnership strengthens our ability to connect clients with a broader range of investment opportunities and solutions. By bringing together our respective capabilities, we can give investors greater access to professionally managed investment options suited to different objectives and risk profiles,” PNB Securities President Manuel Antonio G. Lisbona said.
The agreement will also support the continued development of PNB’s wealth management ecosystem and improve its ability to meet its clients’ varied needs, the bank said.
“Building wealth is a long-term journey that requires both discipline and access to the right expertise,” said ATRAM Trust President Deanno J. Basas. “This partnership allows us to combine our respective capabilities to help investors make informed decisions and pursue their financial goals with greater confidence.”
PNB’s attributable net income rose by 28.34% to P8.21 billion in the second quarter. This brought its first half net profit to P14.55 billion, up by 16.79% year on year.
Meanwhile, the ATRAM Group had P488 billion in managed assets as of end-April and about a 45% share in the Philippine global feeder fund market. — Aaron Michael C. Sy
