A weather deterioration in Greece is forecast for the next couple of days and the National Meteorological Service (EMY) has issued an “orange” warning, that is Category 4.
The main features of the new spell of bad weather will be intense weather phenomena locally, a drop in temperature, and strengthening winds over the seas.
According to EMY, the bad weather front will bring heavy rainfalls and
thunderstorms to several areas – primarily in maritime and
coastal regions – where the storms may be locally accompanied by
hail.
Additionally, very strong north-easterly winds
are forecast locally in the northern Aegean starting
on the evening of Tuesday, October 13, 2026.
+++ It should be recalled that sea traffic may be affected by the strong winds, and travelers should check with local port authorities, travel agents and shipping companies.

The meteo service of the National Observatory of Athens warns in addition of gradual temperature drop, with maximum temperatures on Tuesday, to not exceed 22°–23°C on the mainland and 25°–27°C in island areas. On Wednesday, maximum temperatures will reach 20°–22°C.
