There’s no doubt that Jeff Lewis’ somewhat mysterious boyfriend, Ty, brings out the best in him. In this exclusive clip from Monday’s all-new episode of Still Flipping Out, Lewis and his team prepare for Ty’s arrival in a conference room. “Ty travels a lot,” says Jeff to his pal and “chump” Justin Sylvester. “You’re keeping this man hostage,” jokes Justin. “I just didn’t want all these people going after him, you know what I mean?” asks Jeff. “That’s nice,” says Justin. “And talking him out of it,” says Jeff, referring to their relationship.
The crew shares a laugh, knowing that Lewis’ and Ty’s connection is strong. “We like him, though,” says Annie, Jeff’s social media manager. “We don’t want him to leave.” Shane, Jeff’s chief of staff, nods affirmingly. “He’s nice,” repeats Justin. “And you’re nicer when you’re with him.”
“It’s so true,” agrees Jeff. “I can tell when he’s here,” says Justin. “He’s coming in Thursday,” says Jeff. “You gotta move him here,” says Justin quickly. “It’s so exhausting,” says Jeff. “When can I be the real me?”
“I think it’s time,” chimes in Annie. “It’s been a year.” Jeff looks at her wide-eyed. “You need to open up.” In her confessional, Annie elaborates: “Ty is Jeff’s sanity.” The clip cuts to Shane’s confessional next. “We love when Ty is in town because Jeff is on his best behavior. He’s the nice, fun, cool Jeff, which is great.” Finally, Jeff gets his confessional. “Remember, our relationship is long-distance. It’s not reality,” says Jeff. “And I’m a lot.”
Back in the conference room, Jeff and his team continue talking. “I’m so nice to him,” says Jeff. “Maybe the real you with him is nice,” says Annie helpfully. “Maybe you’re just a bitch to us.” Jeff and the rest can’t help but laugh.
