Australia’s “most limited release beer” is here.
This one’s not in a tinnie; rather, it’s 10 kegs delivered to 10 venues and available for just a couple of hours.
A tradition for more than 20 years, the team at Feral Brewing will this Friday keg the beer, load the truck and hand-deliver its Tusk brew to a select few venues, where it will be tapped instantly and the race on to score a pour before it all runs out.

In a world of mass-produced beers, Tusk Day is an attempt to deliver the freshest beer possible to craft lovers.
“Tusk is a cult beer in the best possible way,” says Feral head brewer Charlotte Freeston.
“You look around on Tusk Day and see people wearing tees and pins collected from previous Tusk tours. Stories of releases from over the years are shared every year, and there’s some good ones.”
Freeston says this year’s brew is a big, modern West Coast Triple IPA “that’s assertive, bitter and brings bold aromas and flavours”.
“There are strong citrus and pine aromas, and a touch of dankness, with a firm, dry and crisp finish,” says Freeston.
Tusk is pouring exclusively on October 16 at The Ashby, The Bird, Clancy’s Fish Pub, The Gate, The Local Hotel, Petition, Kalamunda Taphouse, The Rosemount, Somewhere in the Park and The Wembley.
