The Makinde-Daura Presidential Campaign Organisation, MDPCO, has said President Bola Tinubu cannot lead Nigeria to the promised land, describing his administration as a Pharaoh-like regime that has inflicted hardship on Nigerians.
The campaign team said this in a statement by its Director of Strategic Communications, Richard Ihediwa, stressing that Tinubu’s economic policies have worsened the living conditions of Nigerians, with high inflation, rising fuel prices and job losses.
"Pharaoh cannot lead the people to the promised land. What Nigeria has seen under Tinubu is suffering, not progress. There is hunger in the land and people are tired," the statement said.
The organisation said Nigerians are yearning for a new direction and that respite will only come through Governor Seyi Makinde’s RESET NIGERIA Agenda.
It explained that the RESET NIGERIA Agenda of Makinde, the presidential candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement, APM, focuses on fixing the economy, creating jobs, securing the nation and restoring trust in government.
The group said Makinde has demonstrated capacity in Oyo State and is ready to replicate the same at the national level, urging Nigerians to reject the APC in 2027 and support Makinde, saying the 2027 election is between continued hardship and a new Nigeria.
It added that the APC has failed to deliver on its promises since 2015 and that Nigerians cannot afford another four years under Tinubu.
