One of the toughest challenges in Peruvian motorsport concluded with two category wins for Team LIQUI MOLY. After traversing thousands of grueling kilometers across the country’s mountain ranges, the 2026 edition of the Caminos del Inca saw Raúl ‘Mono’ Orlandini and José Carlos Vallejo claim the top spots on the podium.
In the National All-Wheel Drive (TIN) category, ‘Mono’ Orlandini and his co-driver, Pedro La Cruz, dominated behind the wheel of their Mitsubishi EVO X, finishing with a cumulative time of 11h 21m 15.5s and securing a place among the elite in the general classification.
Meanwhile, José Carlos Vallejo and Miguel Makino asserted their dominance in the T1 category in their Volkswagen Amarok V6, celebrating an impeccable victory upon reaching the finish line in Arequipa.
“We are very proud of the results achieved in this edition of the Caminos del Inca. Securing two titles in such a demanding and highly contested competition is a source of immense satisfaction for the entire Team LIQUI MOLY,” noted Sebastián Kunckel, General Manager of LIQUI MOLY Peru.
“These victories reflect the talent, preparation, and hard work of our drivers and teams, as well as our ongoing commitment to supporting the development of Peruvian motorsport,” he added.

For his part, T1 category champion José Carlos Vallejo remarked that winning the Caminos del Inca is an incredibly rewarding achievement, especially after so many kilometers of intense effort and grueling conditions.
“We are very grateful to everyone who joined us on this adventure, and in particular to LIQUI MOLY for their support throughout the competition. Today we celebrate this great result, but we also know that as of tomorrow, the countdown begins for our return next year,” he stated.
The team’s outstanding performance was bolstered by the tenacity of Álvaro 'Cheto' Silva and Paolo Zani in the T1 category, the brilliant effort of Samuel Dyer and Samuel Dyer Copello in the Rally 3 class, and the consistent performance of Aníbal Aliaga and Javier Marchese in the UTV category.
Additionally, Lucho Mendoza Jr. and Ricardo Dasso demonstrated remarkable speed and courage across every stage, before being forced to withdraw due to the severity of the terrain.
Facing dust, steep climbs, and intense thermal stress at high altitudes, the technical support provided by LIQUI MOLY—Germany’s number one brand—ensured maximum engine protection from start to finish. With podium finishes secured and sights set on next year, Team LIQUI MOLY reaffirms its passion and leadership in the national motorsport scene.
