Yemen : U.S. Embassy Condemns Houthi Attack in Shabwa, Expresses Solidarity with Victims

ADEN – The U.S. Embassy to Yemen has condemned an attack carried out by the Iran-backed Houthi militia in Yemen’s Shabwa province, expressing its condolences to the families of those killed and wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
In a statement, the embassy extended its “deepest condolences” to the families of the “brave Yemenis who fell today in Shabwa” and voiced its hopes for the full and swift recovery of those wounded in the attack.
“We condemn this cowardly attack by the Iran-backed Houthi militia against Yemenis who volunteered to protect their communities and their homeland,” the statement said.
The embassy reiterated its support for efforts aimed at safeguarding civilians and maintaining security and stability in Yemen, while highlighting the sacrifices made by local forces and volunteers confronting security threats across the country.
