Liverpool have their new Fernando Torres, it's official now.
El Nino was something else. He came, with his armband having proved he was a Red, and he conquered. Torres did have lofty expectations breaking Liverpool's transfer record at the time.
However, he didn't fail to disappoint. He just got going from day one, that first moment at Anfield. The way he jinked past his defender and then put the ball into the back of the net.
Torres would do that on a consistent basis, and he would become one of the most feared strikers in the Premier League.
Obviously, he then had to break our hearts. It was inevitable. From the high to the low, and what a low it was. Joining Chelsea was a huge betrayal.
Some Liverpool fans still haven't forgiven him.
Liverpool have an exciting attacking line-up
Julian Ward and his recruitment team have been building a very impressive cast of attackers. All of them young and hungry and determined to prove their worth.
From Alexander Isak to Bradley Barcola and Hugo Ekitike.
Victor Munoz and Rio Ngumoha as well as Lewis Koumas could now be added to that category. Not to mention Josh Sonni-Lambie and Jayden Danns, who were involved in the squad visiting LASK in the Champions League are also players worth keeping an eye on.
Andoni Iraola is known for his exciting attacking football. We've not seen that fully at Liverpool so far this season. However, the expectation is that over time, he is going to be bringing goals and lots of fun - the kind of football Liverpool fans have been missing.
And there's one player who could help with that.
Meet Liverpool's new Fernando Torres - Will Wright
He doesn't quite have the shaggy long hair, but he is blonde just like Liverpool's former forward. On top of that Wright is also one of the most exciting young players in the club's academy.
After scoring a hat-trick in the UEFA Youth League against LASK, Wright now has 11 goal contributions in nine appearances for the club's U19 and U21 teams.
Not bad going. But this form has been consistent since he joined the club on the back of scoring 50+ goals at academy level for Salford City.
Since joining Liverpool, Wright has 22 goals and assists in 26 appearances, averaging a goal contributions every 84 minutes on the pitch.
Like Torres, he's got this phenomenal stride, he is brilliant at running in behind defences - that's how he scored Liverpool's first goal - and he's got the ability to be unpredictable.
