Manchester United are reportedly competing with Tottenham Hotspur and Everton for the signature of Dinamo Zagreb striker Dion Beljo ahead of the January transfer window.
According to TEAMtalk, the three Premier League clubs are monitoring the 24-year-old Croatian forward after his impressive scoring form, which has seen him net 12 goals in his last 14 matches.
Beljo, who stands at 195cm, has scored 10 goals in seven domestic league appearances during the run, attracting interest from several clubs ahead of the winter transfer market.
His form has also extended to the international stage, where he scored his first goal for Croatia on his third appearance during their 4-1 UEFA Nations League defeat to Spain.
Beljo’s scoring record extends beyond the current campaign. The striker registered 38 goals in 48 appearances across all competitions last season, further strengthening his reputation as an emerging attacking target.
Brentford are also monitoring his progress, alongside City Football Group and BlueCo, the ownership group associated with Chelsea. Newcastle United and Leeds United have previously been linked with the forward, who has named both clubs among his Premier League favourites.
The interest from England comes as the leading suitors assess their need for additional attacking options.
At Manchester United, the club is reportedly seeking greater competition for Benjamin Sesko and Matheus Cunha, with uncertainty surrounding Joshua Zirkzee’s future adding to the need for possible reinforcements.
Tottenham, meanwhile, face attacking selection concerns after Richarlison was left out of Roberto De Zerbi’s squad, leaving the club reliant on Dominic Solanke and Omar Marmoush.
Everton are also seeking greater depth in attack. Following Beto’s departure to Fiorentina at the end of a hectic summer transfer window, David Moyes is reportedly left with Thierno Barry as his only recognised senior striker.
Beljo’s recent goalscoring form and growing list of admirers could therefore make him a player to watch when the January transfer window opens.
