Michele Di Gregorio could return to Serie A in January, with Bologna considering a move for the Juventus goalkeeper after a frustrating start to his loan at Bournemouth.
According to Corriere dello Sport, via Calciomercato.it, Bologna are not convinced by their current options in goal, Łukasz Skorupski and Massimo Pessina. They see Di Gregorio as a possible solution.
The 29-year-old joined Bournemouth from Juventus on 25 August on loan with an option to buy. His only appearance so far has come in the Carabao Cup against Lincoln City.

Why Di Gregorio can leave Bournemouth in January
FIFA rules allow a player to be registered with three clubs in a single season, but to play official matches for only two of them. Because Di Gregorio did not play a competitive game for Juventus before his move, he could cut short his spell in England and play for another club in the second half of the season.
Bologna’s interest comes at a difficult time for Raffaele Palladino’s side. They have just one league win this season and were beaten 3-1 at home by Inter on Saturday.
