Colombo, Oct 17 (Daily Mirror)- The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has urged consumers to use water sparingly amid power outages that could disrupt water distribution across the country.
In a public notice, the NWSDB warned that electricity disruptions could affect water supply operations and urged the public to manage their available water stocks carefully.
The board also requested consumers to avoid unnecessary water consumption and use water economically until normal supply operations resume.
The NWSDB expressed regret over any inconvenience caused by potential water supply disruptions.
