One of the most stunning storylines in the NFL through Week 5 has been the Los Angeles Chargers being among the worst teams in the league. They were fully expected to be a playoff team, and quarterback Justin Herbert was considered a dark horse MVP candidate.
Instead, the team is currently 0-5 with a brutal schedule looming, and Herbert is in the midst of the worst season of his career. Naturally, fans want someone to point the finger at. New offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel has been the scapegoat, yet second on the list is Herbert's girlfriend, Madison Beer.
There's a real ongoing conversation on social media that Herbert isn't fully focused on football because Beer is taking up too much of his spare time. Beer, of course, is a famous singer-songwriter and considered one of the most attractive women in the entertainment industry.

Despite her notoriety, former NFL player Chad Ochocinco actually didn't know what she looked like until his most recent podcast episode alongside Shannon Sharpe. Once Ochocinco looked up her pictures, he began to understand why Herbert might be struggling.
Sharpe isn't quite on the same page as Ochocinco. Sharpe says, "I don't get it", seemingly opining that he doesn't believe Beer is attractive enough to truly steal away all of Herbert's attention. Regardless, Herbert and the Chargers need to find a way to turn their season around, and that will only happen if the main focus is on football by everyone involved.
