Louis Tomlinson’s younger sister Daisy has raised eyebrows after appearing to roll her eyes at his girlfriend Zara McDermott during a red carpet interview.
The former Love Island star, 29, attended the Pride of Britain Awards alongside her boyfriend’s younger sister this week, with the pair appearing to be getting on famously as they posed for photographs together.
However, one brief moment during an interview has caught the attention of eagle-eyed social media users, who have been rather enthusiastically dissecting Daisy’s facial expressions.
In a clip circulating on X, Zara can be seen chatting animatedly about her upcoming 30th birthday, admitting that she’s not particularly keen on throwing herself a big celebration.
‘I don’t know if anybody else gets this, but I’m not really a party person and I always feel this–’ she begins.
‘Pressure,’ Daisy interjects, apparently knowing exactly where Zara is going with her thought.

‘Pressure!’ Zara enthusiastically confirms, seemingly delighted that her boyfriend’s sister understands her predicament.
But it’s Daisy’s reaction that has become the subject of considerable online debate, with the influencer appearing to roll her eyes as Zara continues speaking.
Of course, given that the pair were discussing the societal pressure to celebrate milestone birthdays, Daisy’s eye roll could just as easily have been directed at the concept itself rather than her brother’s girlfriend.
That hasn’t stopped viewers from having a field day with the footage, however.
‘OMG!! This is so hilarious…go ahead Daisy. Loving the eyeroll,’ one person wrote.
Another demanded: ‘Ummm I need this to be a gif of just Daisy rolling her eyes bc this is f***ing hilarious.’
‘Haha daisy not a chance of getting a word in, and the eye roll 😂😂😂,’ someone else commented.
A fourth interpreted Daisy’s expression rather differently, joking: ‘she’s literally like “okay yeah—whatever…” 😭😭😭’
Not everyone found the moment amusing, with one viewer defending Zara and accusing Daisy of being impolite.
‘Wow Rude Daisy. Zara is so nice why is she being like that,’ they wrote.
However, a fleeting facial expression is hardly definitive evidence of a family feud, particularly when the rest of the pair’s evening appeared to tell a rather different story.
Indeed, during another interview on the red carpet, Zara spoke warmly about her relationship with the Tomlinson family, even referring to Louis’s siblings as her ‘sisters’.
The documentary-maker also revealed that she was looking forward to spending Christmas with the clan, although coordinating two families’ festive celebrations was proving something of a logistical challenge.
‘I’ve had to try to figure out how to split my time between my family and Louis’ this year, it’s so difficult!’ she told The Sun.
Daisy, meanwhile, appeared equally enthusiastic about the family’s upcoming festivities.
‘We’re going to have a big family Christmas this year, it’s rare that you get everyone in the same room, so it’ll be nice,’ the pair shared.
Zara also offered a rare insight into her romance with the former One Direction singer, whom she began dating in early 2025 following her split from Sam Thompson.
Describing Louis as a particularly easy person to buy Christmas presents for, she gushed: ‘He’s just a very happy person, he’s always happy. And he’s just always grateful.’
The couple have largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight, although Zara has previously made no secret of her affection for the musician.
In fact, she’s gone as far as describing him as her very own fairytale prince.
‘He’s like my Prince Charming. He’s like my fairytale,’ she previously said.
‘He is genuinely the most amazing person I’ve ever met in my life, he’s an inspiration to me in so many ways.’
The relationship hasn’t been entirely free of scrutiny, with Zara facing criticism from some of Louis’s more devoted fans since the couple first sparked dating rumours last March.
But despite the online speculation, the pair appear to be going strong, with Zara recently confirming that they primarily live together at Louis’s north London home.
And while Daisy’s eye roll may have given social media plenty to talk about, it seems rather premature to conclude that there’s trouble brewing in the Tomlinson family.
After all, anyone who’s ever felt obliged to organise a lavish birthday party they don’t actually want might understand the reaction perfectly well.
Metro has contacted representatives for Zara McDermott and Daisy Tomlinson for comment.
