ICAI CA Foundation January 2027 Mock Test Schedule Released; Check Series 1, 2 Dates

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the schedule for the CA Foundation January 2027 mock test series. The Board of Studies (Academic) will conduct the tests in two series, beginning December 1, to help candidates assess their preparation ahead of the main examinations.

The mock tests will be available in both physical and virtual modes from 2 pm to 4 pm. Candidates wishing to appear for the tests in physical mode can contact their respective ICAI branches for further guidance.

ICAI will conduct the mock tests in two series. Series 1 will begin on December 1, while Series 2 is scheduled to start on December 14.

Paper 1 (Accounting): December 1

Paper 2 (Business Laws): December 3

Paper 3 (Quantitative Aptitude): December 7

Paper 4 (Business Economics): December 9

Series 2 Schedule

Paper 1 (Accounting): December 14

Paper 2 (Business Laws): December 16

Paper 3 (Quantitative Aptitude): December 18

Paper 4 (Business Economics): December 21

According to the ICAI notice, question papers will be uploaded to the Board of Studies (BoS) Knowledge Portal and the BoS Mentoring and Training Portal (MTP) registration portal by 1:30 pm on the respective test dates.

Candidates can follow these steps to attempt the mock tests:

1. Visit the ICAI Board of Studies Knowledge Portal or the BoS MTP registration portal.
2. Download the question paper for the relevant subject on the scheduled date.
3. Attempt the paper between 2 pm and 4 pm, following the prescribed time limit.
4. Check the answers using the answer key, which will be uploaded within 48 hours of the completion of each paper.
5. Review mistakes and identify areas that require further preparation.

The mock tests are intended to help candidates practise time management and evaluate their readiness for the January 2027 examinations.

The CA Foundation January 2027 examinations will be held on January 3, 5, 7 and 9. ICAI has also announced the schedule for the CA Intermediate examinations for the same session.

Candidates appearing for the January session can use the mock test series to practise under exam-like conditions, assess their performance and work on weaker areas before the main examinations.
