Welcome to BTSC’s Friday night open thread:
- The Steelers play across the pond this weekend. Do you have a bucket list place to visit in Europe? Or have you made that trip already?
- It’s a 9:30 a.m. EST kickoff in Paris (6:30 a.m. on the West Coast). What’s your Sunday NFL routine going to look like?
- Sebastian Joseph-Day joined Derrick Harmon on injured reserve this week. How confident are you in the Steelers’ defensive line depth moving forward?
- Pittsburgh added Marquez Valdes-Scantling to the practice squad this week, and it certainly won’t be a surprise if he ends up suiting up against the Saints. With the number of injuries the Steelers have at wide receiver, should MVS be the extent of their additions at the position, or do you want more?
- Antonio Brown is apparently pursuing a career in stand-up comedy. What’s the funniest Steelers play/moment you can remember? “Hurdles, kicks a man!” is up there for sure.
- By the time you’re reading this, I will likely be headed off for a short backpacking trip. What’s the best hike/trek you’ve ever gone on?
Tonight’s song rec: Probably my favorite track off the new Fontaines DC album:
