WBO orders Oscar Collazo-Ryusei Matsumoto negotiations

The WBO Monday ordered negotiations to begin between its full minimumweight champion Oscar Collazo and interim champion Ryusei Matsumoto. Collazo 15-0 (12 KOs) suffered a rib injury last month prior to his planned attempt to capture the unified flyweight title from Ricardo Sandoval, who was promptly upset by replacement opponent Sergio Mendoza on October 10 in Chicago.
