Reliance Digital’s Festival of Electronics sale has begun, and iPhone 17 Pro 256GB at Rs. 56,990 is its leading offer. The sale also covers televisions, air conditioners, laptops, washing machines and audio products, along with an assured exchange bonus of up to Rs. 20,000 and bank offers of up to Rs. 30,000.
The company announced the sale on 8 October 2026 under the #CelebrateWithNoExcuses campaign. Every price carries terms and conditions, so shoppers should read the fine print before visiting a store or placing an online order.

Headline Deals at a Glance
The press release names a small set of products, and the table below brings the listed prices together so that readers can compare them quickly.
Most of these prices apply to select models and stock levels, so availability can differ from one store to another.
Offers that Can Lower the Final Bill
Beyond product prices, Reliance Digital has announced three wider offers that apply across categories.
An assured exchange bonus of up to Rs. 20,000 on old devices.
Discounts of up to Rs. 30,000 on leading bank cards and consumer loans.
A 50% off offer on a second product, which the fine print limits to select accessories on purchases of Rs. 15,000 or above.
The second product offer is valid until 15 November 2026 or until stock ends. The company has not announced an end date for the main sale, so buyers may want to act early on the products they have already shortlisted.
Why the Price Tags Need a Careful Read
The press release shows a few numbers that do not match. Its summary places Samsung 1.5T inverter AC at Rs. 33,890, while the product list shows it at Rs. 29,990. The release also names an LG Mini LED TV at Rs. 37,990 and a Toshiba 55-inch Mini LED TV at Rs. 49,990. iPhone 17 Pro 256GB launched in India at Rs. 1,34,900 in 2025, so the Rs. 56,990 figure most likely includes exchange and bank benefits. Shoppers should ask the store for the final payable amount in writing.
The Market Backdrop Behind the Sale
Smartphone buyers face a tougher year than usual, which gives these offers more weight. IDC reported that India's smartphone shipments fell 11.1% year on year to 33.2 million units in the second quarter of 2026, as a global memory chip shortage pushed up costs. The firm expects full-year shipments of 128 to 130 million units, down from 152 million in 2025. Omdia says broad price normalisation is unlikely before the first half of 2027. In this setting, a visible discount on a flagship phone stands out.
What Festive Spending Looks Like So Far
Early festive data shows that shoppers are still spending on electronics. Redseer Strategy Consultants estimated that online marketplaces generated about Rs. 24,000 crore in the first two days of their festive sales, nearly six times the usual daily level.
Consumer electronics was the second-largest category, with a 25% to 27% share, worth approximately Rs. 6,000 crore to Rs. 6,500 crore. Electronics orders rose to nearly 14 times normal daily levels, with laptops and connected devices in strong demand. These figures cover online platforms only, and they still hint at the mood in physical stores.
Who Stands to Gain the Most
Three groups of buyers look best placed to benefit from this sale.
iPhone Upgraders: Counterpoint recorded 15% growth in Apple sales from April to July 2026, and Reliance Digital opened iPhone 18 Pro pre-booking on 12 September 2026, which makes the 17 Pro the previous generation.
Home Buyers: Families who need an AC or a front-load washing machine can use the exchange and bank offers on higher-priced items.
Laptop Buyers: Omdia expects global PC shipments to fall 12% in 2026 due to memory and storage shortages, which could push prices up later.
Store Reach and After-Sales Support
Reliance Digital describes itself as India's largest electronics retailer, with a presence in over 800 cities. It runs more than 700 large format stores and over 900 My Jio stores, and it offers more than 5,000 products from over 300 brands. After-sales service comes through Reliance resQ, which the company calls India's only ISO 9001-certified electronics service brand. For large items such as ACs and washing machines, installation and service access often matter as much as the sticker price, so this network adds practical value to the offers.
Smart Steps Before You Pay
A few simple checks can protect the value of any festive purchase.
Compare the final price with online listings for the same model.
Confirm the condition an old device must meet to earn the full exchange bonus.
Check which bank cards and loan partners qualify for the extra discount.
Keep the invoice, warranty card and offer terms in one place.
Festive sales reward patient buyers who plan, and this one gives shoppers enough room to do that. The final price, not the headline price, should decide the purchase.

Final Thought
The Festival of Electronics sale arrives when phone and laptop prices are under pressure, and that gives its offers real meaning for anyone who planned to upgrade this year. iPhone 17 Pro deal, the exchange bonus and the bank discounts can bring costs down by a large margin, provided the terms are met.
Shoppers who compare prices, read the conditions and ask for the final amount in writing will get the most from the sale. Used with care, this festive season can be a good moment to buy technology that lasts for years.
