The Israeli military has announced that Palestinians holding work permits will not be allowed to enter Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank on Sunday and Monday ahead of the elections.
Al Jazeera reported early Sunday, October 25, that the restrictions on Palestinian workers also apply to industrial zones and other areas.
According to the report, the Israeli military also announced that Palestinian workers would be completely barred from entering or leaving the entire West Bank and the Jordan Valley throughout election day on Tuesday.
The military added that all land crossings would also be closed on that day.
Meanwhile, Israeli settlers have been preventing Palestinian farmers in the occupied West Bank from harvesting their olive crops.
