Allan Kilavuka's graduation message
Rather than viewing the late timing as a shortcoming, Kilavuka used his graduation post to encourage others to resist societal pressure around academic milestones.
He described the decision to pursue the degree at this stage of his career as deliberate, tied to a long-held aspiration of one day becoming a lecturer.
"In pursuit of a lifelong dream of one day becoming a lecturer, I recently graduated from London Metropolitan University with a degree in Business Psychology," he said, adding that sharing the occasion with his wife and former KQ colleagues made it especially meaningful.
He concluded with a message to his fellow graduates: "Success does not have to look the same for everyone, and your journey does not have to resemble your neighbor's to be worthwhile."
