The Baltimore Ravens received encouraging news about Ja’Kobi Lane ahead of Sunday’s AFC North showdown against the Cleveland Browns. The rookie receiver appears ready to return after a wrist injury, providing relief amid the Ravens’ growing injury concerns.
According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Lane is “good to go” after completing a full week of practice. The development strengthens expectations that Baltimore will have him available against Cleveland.
Lane suffered his wrist injury during Baltimore’s season-opening victory over the Indianapolis Colts. He subsequently underwent surgery and was placed on injured reserve September 16.

The rookie missed four consecutive games, satisfying the NFL’s minimum absence requirement for injured reserve.
Baltimore activated Lane from injured reserve earlier this week, allowing him to resume full practice participation. However, the team’s final injury report still listed him as questionable for Sunday.
His potential return comes at an important moment for the Ravens’ offense.
Baltimore will be without quarterback Lamar Jackson and center Cam Jurgens against Cleveland on Sunday. Jackson is sidelined with an ankle injury, while Jurgens remains in concussion protocol.
Tight end Matthew Hibner and defensive lineman Broderick Washington have also been ruled out. Meanwhile, several other players appeared on Baltimore’s injury report throughout the week.
The Ravens previously faced concerns about Lane’s recovery following his promising NFL debut.
Lane caught one pass for 11 yards before he was injured against Indianapolis. His return would provide another receiving option for Baltimore’s offense.
Head coach Jesse Minter previously praised Lane’s conditioning and preparation throughout his rehabilitation.
Although Lane’s availability still depends on the team’s final game-day decisions, Fowler’s update offers considerable encouragement.
Baltimore will hope his return provides a timely boost against its division rival.
